Each year, Homecoming at the University of South Carolina brings tens of thousands of alumni, students and friends of the university back together in Columbia. With a large slate of events across campus, it is the single biggest reunion event each year for Gamecock alumni.
Homecoming Tailgate vs. Alabama
Join the Homecoming tailgate party presented by Founders Federal Credit Union before you head to Williams-Brice Stadium to cheer on the Gamecocks to beat the Alabama Crimson Tide!
Saturday, Oct. 25 | Three hours before kickoff | Gamecock Park
Your tailgate ticket includes special entertainment, a live band, facepainters, a balloon artist and more, all conveniently located in Gamecock Park. Ticket holders will also have access to food, restrooms, TVs and a cash bar.
USC Ring Ceremony
The Fall 2025 Ring Ceremony is open to all students who have earned 60 or more credit hours at the University of South Carolina and alumni who have placed their official ring order. During the event, students will be individually recognized as they receive their USC rings, a symbol of their academic achievement and lifelong connection to Carolina.

Eligible students and alumni must have placed their official ring order and completed their RSVP by the deadline of Oct. 1 to participate in the ceremony.
Richard T. Greener Scholarship Breakfast
Hosted by the Black Alumni Council, this annual gathering brings together alumni, students, and friends in support of a powerful cause — the Richard T. Greener Scholarship, which provides vital support to deserving students at the University of South Carolina.

at the CIC Homecoming Celebration
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Cocky’s Reading Express, the College of Information and Communications invites you to stop by their Homecoming Celebration to view the premiere of this new short film. Experience the illuminating impact of this iconic literary initiative throughout South Carolina. This event will be held at the Kennedy Greenhouse Studio and Rose Garden, located next to the Horseshoe. Admission is free and guests are welcome. Please register below if you plan to attend.
