In 2023, the LGBTQ+ Alumni Council set forth a challenge to their alumni base to endow a scholarship for students who are striving to make USC a more inclusive campus community for all individuals. In only a year’s time, this scholarship was fully funded, becoming the first of its kind in Association and University history.
This scholarship will be awarded to students who maintain(s) a 2.5 GPA (undergraduate), successfully submit an essay demonstrating applicant’s leadership and advocacy work on campus and in the community and are a rising undergraduate junior or senior. Scholarship(s) are to be awarded annually to eligible student(s) attending classes on the USC Columbia campus.
